with Adam Bigelow of Bigelow’s Botanical Excursions

Adam is an exquisite native plant expert and horticulturist with a natural skill to weave an engaging story. His classes are renowned in our region for being both informative and fun. Expect to have ideas and concepts other people may have told you as fact put into question. Adam speaks frequently at our nursery, as well as being a supporter of our native plant selection and the caretaker of our fruiting trees both at the nursery and the mountain farm.  We’re big fans!

This spring, he will lead this class which answers every 1 in 5 questions we get here at the nursery: What Should I do with my Steep Bank? He will take on this common home-owner dilemma at the roots (roots being one of the biggest solutions to stabilizing a bank!). Oh I do make myself laugh.  Needless to say, native plantings will form a large part of the solution for your troublesome slope!

From helping with erosion control to providing a low-zero maintenance and attractive slope, this class has information that almost all gardeners can benefit from. Please invite your friends; this is sure to be a crowd pleaser!
