Perhaps our most unique site at the campground, the Glass House is where our farm got its start.
Before the majority of our vegetable production moved to our nursery down in Franklin proper, we grew all of our certified naturally grown produce and plant starts in this legit old-school building. Now, it is unofficially classed as “Super Private” with its own driveway up to a site higher than almost all of those around it. From up here you can hear the sounds of the Nantahala River down below and gaze upon the not-so-distant mountains.
You can set your site up outside the Glass House or take refuge on the inside if the weather isn’t to your liking. This site also has a free-standing wooden structure where we used to have a planting / potting station. Now it’s great for hanging out with beverages and enjoying the day with some shade! This site comes with a Breeo firepit, Adirondack chairs and counter with tile inlay.
