A naturally beautiful shady spot teeming with wildflowers and ferns (April to October).
If you choose to have your adventure and camp here, you’ll have your own private parking, private river access and a special 14′ x 16′ platform that rises above the native plants (thus protecting them) keeping your site nice and dry in this naturally moist ecosystem. This riverside campground features its own fire ring, Adirondack chairs, 8′ picnic table, waist height prep table, adjacent grassy “play” area and a bridge to the community river spot. It is primitive, so for water and power you’ll want to head to the Pavilion or Bathhouse. Originally a location to say nuptials, now you can fall in love with the sounds of the river under a bed of stars!
