Our Philosophy – Sustainable, Certified Naturally Grown Farming
At Winding Stair Farm, we are proud to be Certified Naturally Grown, using only natural treatments to cultivate healthy soil enriched with beneficial bacteria and organic matter. Our commitment to sustainable agriculture ensures that every vegetable we grow is free from synthetic pesticides and fertilizers, nourishing both the land and our community.
A Diverse & Flavorful Harvest
We believe in growing a wide variety of vegetables to provide fresh, seasonal, farm-to-table produce for our CSA members, farm shop, local restaurants, and farmers’ markets. By starting all of our plants from seed, we can cultivate rare and heirloom vegetable varieties, celebrating their unique stories, vibrant colors, and rich flavors.
Year-Round Growth & Regenerative Farming
Our heated farm propagation house allows us to extend the growing season, ensuring fresh, local produce throughout the year. Whether thriving in the garden beds or seed-starting indoors, our crops are nurtured with care, following the principles of regenerative farming to build a more resilient and sustainable food system.
