Always wanted to learn chess but never knew where to start? This laid-back class is perfect for beginners. You’ll learn how each piece moves, how to think a few steps ahead, and what makes a solid opening—all in a supportive, outdoor setting.
Our instructor Eric (Winding Stair’s own chess enthusiast and resident marketing nerd) will guide you through your first game with zero judgment and lots of encouragement.
Stick around afterward for casual games with others. We’ll provide the boards—just bring your curiosity (and maybe a sunhat).
