Bring your friends and family along to explore the magic that is Winding Stair Campground!

Self Guided Tour: Take a tour of all 4 glampsites, 6 campsites, see the sheep on the Farm and Mill with the water wheel in action

Bring a Picnic: Have a snack or a full spread at any of our sites, in the field overlooking the river or in the Mill’s yard watching the water wheel do it’s thing

Enjoy the River: Sit by the river, enjoying the sounds, looking for fish, pollinators and, yes, occasionally a deer wandering past. A set of stone steps lead into the river allowing you access to play in the river. Property boundaries are indicated upstream and downstream, while the entire bank on the other side of the river is off limits.

Guided Wildflower Walk: Join Adam Bigelow on one of his wildflower walks that will take you all over the property on a quest for wildflowers and native plants. This easy-going, slow-paced walk will undoubtedly pique your interest in local folklore, beautiful and rare wildflowers, and send you on a quest to find and identify more cool plants in your future. (The wildflower walk is $15 per person, register below)

Practice Fly Tying and Casting: Ernie, owner of Fish Tales on Main Street, will be bringing rods and materials to try your hand at casting and tying flys while giving you some pro tips

Chat with our Activity Partners: Representatives from some of the groups and companies listed below will be around the Pavilion to answer questions about what they offer to our community. Stop by to learn about their activities and grab some information.
