Get a head start on your Native Wildflower Garden by sowing seeds outside and in repurposed milk jugs.

Winter Sowing – The Milk Jug Class

Saturday Jan 18th | 1pm start
Sliding Scale Pricing. Pay what you can $5 to $30.

Presented by Adam Bigelow of Bigelow’s Botanical Excursions

Leave the class with your own native plant “mini greenhouse”.

Adam will join us to talk about the importance of sowing native plant seeds both directly (on the ground) and in this unique method where one also gets to repurpose a milk jug so it can live beyond its sole purpose in life and, at least somewhat, give back to the planet.

We will have a handful of cleaned, used milk jugs (not the opaque white and yellow ones), soil and native plant seeds so you can enjoy the class and take your own milk jug garden home.

We will learn how to get a head start on your Spring Native Wildflower Garden by sowing seeds outside and in repurposed plastic milk jugs. Note that we have an indoor location if the weather isn’t being super nice!
