We grow all our food using Certified Naturally Grown methods, without synthetic chemicals, sprays, or shortcuts. Just healthy soil, smart crop rotation, and care that starts with the seed.
This page is updated weekly with the most accurate list of whatâs available right now at our retail nursery in Franklin. Everything listed below is harvested from our working farm, just behind our hoophouses, and available while supplies last.

- Garlic Scapes â curly, crisp, and packed with mild garlic flavorâgreat grilled or chopped into pasta
- Collard Greens â hearty, just begging for a ham bone and a two hour simmer
- Fresh Purple & Yellow Onions â fresh, flavorful, and versatile in any dish
- Kale â nutrient-rich, freshly harvested, and ready for sautĂ©ing or smoothies
- Lettuce Mix â crisp, cool-weather greens perfect for garden-fresh salads
- Zucchini & Summer Squash â early-season favorites, great for grilling or roasting
- Farm-Milled Cornmeal & Grits â ground on-site at our mountain grist mill using locally grown corn

đ„ Skillet Summer Veg & Lamb Chop Sizzle
A simple, showy dish that turns your freshest vegetables into a full meal.
Serves: 2
Pairs well with: a cold drink, crusty bread, and bragging rights.
Youâll Need:
- 4 Winding Stair lamb chops (thawed)
- 1-2 zucchini, sliced
- 1-2 summer squash, sliced
- œ bunch rainbow chard, chopped (stems too!)
- 3 garlic scapes, finely chopped
- œ purple onion, sliced
- Olive oil, salt, pepper, optional splash of balsamic or lemon
How To:
- Salt and pepper your lamb chops and let them sit at room temp for 20â30 minutes.
- In a heavy skillet, sear lamb chops over medium-high heat, about 3â4 minutes per side depending on thickness. Remove and rest.
- In the same pan, add a splash of olive oil and cook onions and garlic scapes until fragrant.
- Add zucchini, squash, and chard stems; sautĂ© for 3â4 minutes. Add chard leaves last and wilt.
- Optional: Deglaze with a splash of balsamic or lemon juice.
- Slice rested lamb chops and serve over the veg. Spoon any pan drippings on top.
